Setting Your Product Goals

Product Goals compliment your Overall Goal & Budget. Product goals can be defined for different segments of your assortment (products from a specific brand, products that fall within a certain price range, products that belong to a particular category, etc.).

When entering the Product Goals Page, you will find an overview of all product goals currently set.

Overview

The overview lists all defined product goals and how many products are included in each goal.

Here you have different options, described in details in the following sub chapters:

  • Add new goals

  • Adapt existing goals

  • Publish Changes

  • Change Priorities

Life Hack

When assigning products to goals, keep in mind that the default product assignment is unrestricted. This means that without a product filter, all products will be assigned to the product goal. To manage multiple assignments, prioritise product goals, where the goal with higher priority takes precedence.

How to add new Goals

  1. Click the +Add Goal-Button

  2. Define a name for the new goal

  3. Select the suitable Advertising Mode.
The advertising mode allows you to provide guidance on how relevant specific products or product groups are to your business. This information will be taken into account when segmenting your inventory, along with other data signals. Set a more aggressive advertising mode for products that are more important to you.)

  4. Add the new Product Goal

  2. Use drag and drop in order to change the priority
